Tournament Rules:

Dallas Plano Asian Independence Cup 2024 Rules & Regulations 

All players participated in this tournament must follow the rules below: 

1. The tournament committee reserves all rights to amend the rules. 

2. FIFA rules will also be used. 

3. All decisions in the tournament are final. 

Player Eligibility: 

4. All players must be Asian descendants. 

5. All players must be at least 18 years of age on July 5th, 2024 in order to participate in this tournament. 

6. For O18 age group, players must be born on or before July 5th, 2006. 

7. For O30 age group, players must be born on or before the year of 1994. 

8. For O40 age group, players must be born on or before the year of 1984. 

9. For O50 age group, players must be born on or before the year of 1974. 

10. FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY REASON, ALL TEAMS AND ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER AND HAVE VALID IDs ALL THE TIME. 

Teams: 

11. The maximum number of players for each team is 25 per game. 

12. PLAYERS CAN ONLY REGISTER AND PLAY WITH ONE TEAM 

ONLY. IF ANY TEAM PLAYER VIOLATE, THE WHOLE TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. 

13. COMMITTEE HAVE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY PLAYER WITH THEIR BAD HISTORY. 

14. Players must have soccer shoes, socks and shin guards. 

15. No metal cleats allowed on the fields. Players will have to check in at the field before each game. 

Check-in: 

16. New wrist band will be issued for each game. 

17. Players’ ID have to be available all the time just in case for any complaints. 

Fields: 

18. CITY OF PLANO DOES NOT ALLOW SMOKING AND ALCOHOL AT THE FIELD. 

Games: 

19. Group draw will be at the feild. 

20. Each game has a. 2 thirty-minutes halves. 

b. A water break in each half. 

c. A 10-minutes half-time. 

d. Unlimited substitution. 

21. No extra time in this tournament. 

22. NO SLIDE TACKLE AND NO BICYCLE KICK ALLOWED. 

23. Please be on time for your match at least 20 minutes. A team 

will count as loss (0 point) for NOT show up within 15 minutes in their game. 

Points: 

24. No tie game in this tournament. Teams will take penalty shoot-out to find out the winning team. 

25. Point Details: a. 3 points for a regular win 

b. 2.5 points for winning penalty shoot-out (Score will be same for the tie game.) 

c. 0 points for a loss 

26. Tie breaker: a. Winning points 

b. Goal difference 

c. Goals offense scored 

d. Team red cards 

e. Team yellow cards 

f. Penalty kick (FIFA rule) 

Infraction: 

27. If a player has a yellow card, player will be asked for leaving the field in 5 minutes before getting back to the game. 

28. IF A PLAYER HAS 2 YELLOW CARDS IN ONE GAME, A PLAYER IS IMMEDIATELY SHOWN A RED CARD AND MUST LEAVE THE FIELD PLAY. ALSO, PLAYER WILL BE SUSPENSED IN THE NEXT GAME. 

29. IF A PLAYER HAS A DIRECTED RED CARD, THE PLAYER WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE GAME AND CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT. 

30. NO WEAPONS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE TOURNAMENT. TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF ANY TEAM PLAYER BRINGS ANY KIND OF WEAPON TO THE FIELD. 

31. COMPLAINT FORM WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING THE TOURNAMENT. ONLY TEAM CAPTAIN CAN FILL OUT THE FORM AND COMMUNICATE TO TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE WITH ANY ISSUES DURING THE GAME. 

32. IF A TEAM USES AN ILLEGAL PLAYER, TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED THE TOURNAMENT. 

33. PLAYERS INVOLVED IN FIGHTING WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FIELD; THE TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED THE TOURNAMENT. 

34. PLAYERS CANNOT ASSAULT, YELLING, OR FIGHTING WITH VOLUNTEERS, REFEREES, OR BOARD’S MEMBERS; TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED THE TOURNAMENT. 

35. ALL THE WINNING CASH PRIZE WILL BE GIVEN AT THE PARTY AFTER THE TOURNAMENT. 

36. RED CARD COST: $300.00 YELLOW CARD COST: $30.00 

37. IF A TEAM CANCEL THE GAME WITH APPROVAL FROM THE BOARD, THE GAME SCORE WILL BE 0-3. 

38. CLEAN UP YOUR TRASH AFTER EACH GAME.
